It's that time of year again when I will ask you to "Give me your money!"
I have registered for the Komen Race for the Cure because I want to make an impact in the fight against breast cancer. I have made this a goal to be involved in this amazing event every year since it made such a big impact on me the first time I participated over 6 years ago. In the past few years, not only have I been through some personal medical issues, but family members and close friends have also had to fight through some tough times. So it definitely hits a lot closer to home this time around as I'm sure you all know someone close to you that is or has gone through something very similar.
I'm blessed to work for a company that encourages and shares my enthusiasm for this event and enters a team to help raise awareness and donations for the foundation. The above picture is just a snapshot of the experience and range of emotions you witness on Race Day. I know many of you have donated in the past and helped not only me achieve my personal goals, but countless other warriors that don't get the opportunity to say thank you. So I'm asking you again this year to please consider making a tax-deductible donation in support of my fundraising efforts.
You can donate online with your credit card by clicking the button above my fundraising thermometer.
Your support helps us get one step closer to a world without breast cancer. 75 percent of the money raised through the Race stays in the community to fund local breast cancer education, screening and treatment programs. The remaining 25 percent supports groundbreaking breast cancer research.
